- UKP or UK Pounds. Foreign keyboards in the main do not have the £ symbol, therefore people listing “Dubious” items enter the price as UKP/UK Pounds.
- Some also list UK Sterling; the main reason that they say 'pounds' is that it sounds English!
- Cheap Prices. A £15,000 car for sale @ £4,000 seems a bargain, but buyers beware. If it sounds too good to be true, it is most certainly NOT TRUE.
- Description of the vehicle. If the advert reads more so like it has been cut and pasted from a service manual /or manufactures website. This could mean that the seller (scammer) does not really have a clue what they are selling.
- Payment for vehicles. Other forms of payment suggest that an untraceable payment option is best for the seller! But it is in your interest that your payment is indeed traceable.
- Sellers Location. If the location seems rundown and in the need of much work, then the car may reflect the same.
- Buying Safely. Before you purchase via Carboard.co.uk, it is important that you know as much as is possible information about the seller. Check their website and any comments left by customers also check how long they have been trading.
- Carboard strongly believes in working with the Police and other Agencies such as the DVLA to ensure that goods sold are genuine and fit for purpose.
